We are looking for an experienced, hands-on marketing analytics leader who can partner with our Marketing team to help drive forward our User Acquisition efforts. You will help shape our marketing strategy by leading a Marketing Analytics team execute on initiatives to scale monthly channel spend and maximize ROI. You’ll work with senior leadership to establish attribution measurement tools, models, and frameworks within an ever-evolving media and privacy landscape in order to continuously improve our grasp of the business. This individual will manage a team of managers and analysts, and will be expected to be drive insights, experiment design, and incrementally testing across our breadth of marketing channels.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and grow a team of marketing data analysts who will support and provide insights and direction to channel owners.
  • Spearhead the development of data models and algorithms to help us understand our marketing tactics better, especially as it relates to acquisition channel attribution, customer segmentation, and incrementally.
  • Expand operational scale of the Marketing team through implementation of marketing automation solutions such as third-party APIs and tag management platforms.
  • Drive proper experimental design, and provide advanced analytical support on marketing campaign tests with clear conclusions on test outcome
  • Partner with Marketing leads to identify new reporting and data requirements, document requirements, build reports and coordinate with engineering to provide the necessary data points
  • Monitor website traffic and conversion metrics, customer engagement levels and LTVs on an ongoing basis. Be the subject matter expert on identifying marketing trends and diagnosing data anomalies

Experience & Skills: 

  • 8+ years of in-depth Business Intelligence experience ideally in partnership with Marketing, Live Ops, Growth, or Product Management departments
  • Strong communication skills. Able to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner. Experience communicating analyses and fielding questions from executive team members
  • Experience with experiment design and A/B test analysis across multiple KPIs
  • Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to the team
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized. Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Experience with cross team project management
  • Expert proficiency with SQL
  • Experience with Web Analytics platforms 
  • Experience with data visualization software 
  • Prior experience working with Media Mix Modeling, Multi-touch Attribution, and TV/Audio Media Measurement

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with Amplitude a huge plus
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop or Looker a plus
  • Experience with BigQuery/Snowflake and Python a plus
