In this role, you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the value created from our AI product suite, data pipelines and analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the team that owns data best practices and data science throughout Travel, having direct ownership of the strategy that we execute to meaningfully impact revenue across our Travel businesses. You will also play a key role in driving adoption of these tools across the industry group, working closely with other leaders to consult and showcase how to apply these tools to maximize effect. We’re looking for someone who has strong analytical/ML skills and a keen sense of how to apply these to solve business problems.

This role will provide visibility and access to senior-level leadership as you help drive behavior change across our organization. You will work closely with the AI Product’s GM setting strategy and action plans while getting reps pitching those to SLT members for buy-in.

What You'll Do:

  • Set and execute the strategy of the Travel data team
  • Be responsible for product integration and value creation of our machine learning-driven products in key BUs to showcase revenue opportunities
  • Work with your team to Ideate, opportunity size, and pitch wholistic AI Products opportunities to get senior leadership buy-in
  • Oversee multiple on-going work streams and experiments – allocating your time effectively to ensure highest priority work is accomplished
  • Train your team to build and launch templated data components to enhance likelihood of success for an implementation – this may come in the form of visualizations, notebooks, and/or algorithms
  • Actively involved in product roadmapping and/or feature prioritization to provide perspective and expertise on sophisticated ways to leverage our data
  • Own data pipelines for Travel BUs
  • Oversee daily operations of the data team across Travel
  • Own implementation of advanced data practices across Travel

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience blending product expertise and machine learning practitioner background.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering high business value strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing, analytical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business decisions and behavior changes through analytical capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling and optimization, with experience working directly or indirectly on a specific business-application in this field
  • Analytical skill-set with a data-centric approach to problem solving. You take in information and prioritize effectively to maximize lasting impact
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and capability of innovating and executing solutions to create value for consumers
  • A results-oriented thinker who enjoys figuring out new problems and are regularly showing results with a positive attitude
  • You thrive in ambiguity. You can ingest various data points and feedback to form a new playbook and framework in situations where there isn’t a perfect solution
  • Bring a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and develop a deep understanding of how our editorial, SEO, and marketing functions operate to ensure alignment with your product roadmap and their needs/opportunity areas. 
  • Blend a deep understanding of state-of-the-art AI methods (large language models, deep learning, reinforcement learning) with deep business context to set a technical product roadmap.
  • Present ML product roadmap and vision to key business executives to gain alignment around core milestones and resourcing.

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $145,000 - $260,000*
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience. 
  • Enrollment in Red Ventures Long Term Incentive Plan (Equity)
