Our team is rapidly growing as we expand our programs to reach more health systems and patients, and we are excited to bring on an engineering manager. In this role, you will be tasked with growing and nurturing our engineering team into a world class organization.  Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution and delivery of product features by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead key engineering initiatives to improve overall engineering effectiveness and productivity.
  • Iteratively define and refine development processes and engineering best practices as teams grow.
  • Recruit, challenge, and reward high-performing software engineers and technical leads.
  • Be a trusted partner for senior management to determine the best solutions, help drive alignment and implement decisions throughout your team.

 Qualifications (Required):

  • 10+ years of developing software products and managing software teams.
  • Proven experience sourcing, hiring, and growing a software development team.
  • Understanding of up-to-date software engineering tools and processes (git, CI/CD, GCP, JIRA).
  • Broad knowledge of design patterns necessary for highly scalable, distributed architecture.
  • Experience building and managing a data team, preferably with hybrid data engineers and analysts.
  • Experience building a data platform, with experience in tooling and services such as Airflow, Spark, Flink, Beam, dbt, Dataflow, BigQuery, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in data modeling, ELT/ETL, and improving data quality.

Qualifications (Bonus):

  • Experience with data governance, usage tracking, and A/B testing.
  • Experience with NLP and AI/ML.
  • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or Python
  • Experience in healthcare
  • Prior work at a startup
