You Are:

UST is looking for a qualified senior cloud ETL tester to ensure quality delivery of end-to-end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

The Opportunity:

  • Interpret and analyze data from various source systems to support data integration and data reporting needs.
  • Develop complex code data scripts (Primarily SQL) for ETL.
  • Execute testing of data analytics and data integration on time and within budget.
  • Work with team leads to prioritize business and information needs
  • Troubleshoot & determine the best resolution for data issues and anomalies
  • Work with business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts, and Developers to ensure quality delivery of software.
  • Follow quality management best practices and processes to bring consistency and completeness to integration service testing
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive QA test plans and test cases, tools, and infrastructure for assigned areas
  • Design, develop, automate, monitor, and maintain data quality assurance processes that transfer data to and from internal and external locations.
  • Designing and managing the testing AWS environments of data workflows during the development and deployment of data products
  • Provide assistance to the team in Test Estimation & Test Planning
  • Design, and development of Reports and dashboards.
  • Analyzing and evaluating data sources, data volume, and business rules.
  • Drive client discussions and onsite: offshore communications as lead

What you need:

  • Should be well versed with the Data flow and Test Strategy for ETL Testing.
  • Experience in testing Database Applications to validate source-to-destination data movement and transformation.
  • Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing & End End testing.
  • Has a deep understanding of data architecture & data modeling best practices and guidelines for different data and analytic platforms
  • Able to create test data to perform scenario-based functional testing
  • Requirements
  • Experienced in large-scale application development testing.
  • Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL databases, Python and AWS
  • Proficiency in Databrick and Snowflake skills along with PySpark
  • Proficiency in using airflow to schedule and execute jobs
  • Experience with multi-year, large-scale projects
  • Expert technical skills with hands-on ETL, API, and Cloud-based applications testing experience
  • Proficient in reading and writing relational databases(RDBMS) and NoSQL databases
  • Extensive experience testing DBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
  • Extensive experience with both data migration and data transformation testing
  • Experience using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with one or more industry-standard defect or Test Case Management Tools: Zephyr, ALM, QC, Jira, Rally, etc.
  • Ability to communicate work progress, risks, and strategies in a group setting. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leaders.
  • Proven aptitude in reconciling business requirements with testing requirements
  • Ability to comprehend high levels of complex details
  • Ability to problem-solve in time-constrained situations
  • Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Detailed, highly organized, and time efficient
  • Experience in varied technology projects throughout all phases. Ability to conduct usability testing
  • Proven capability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.  As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $84,000-$126,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
