What you'll do:

As a dynamic Financial Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving our company's financial success. Collaborating directly with our Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will ignite strategic and financial brilliance across various areas of our organization. Your role will be pivotal, breathing life into historical and future financial narratives, unraveling variances, trends, and opportunities, and amplifying business insights within our thriving and fast-evolving enterprise.

Join us in shaping the financial landscape as you craft, refine, and elevate our monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets and forecasts. Partnering closely with our senior leadership team, you will wield cutting-edge tools to sculpt a symphony of Key Performance Indicators that will have impacts throughout the organization. 

  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and reviewing company’s monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted and forecasted figures
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity, utilizing financial systems and tools effectively
  • Produce standard and ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • 2+ years of proven success as a financial analyst or related role with working knowledge of standard financial statements and GAAP
  • Strong Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and sensitivity analysis
  • MySQL knowledge is a strong plus to extract data from the database
  • Experience using enterprise performance management software for planning/forecasting is a plus
  • Ability to utilize strong interpersonal skills to work well with managers throughout the company to promptly analyze financial situations
  • Good analytical, written, communication and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity, ability to multi-task and a level of tolerance for fast changing work environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Base Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 + (bonus offered in addition to base compensation)

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate and is provided pursuant to Equal Pay Laws. Billtrust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
