The Generative AI Data Scientist will innovate in a fast-paced organization that contributes to game-changing projects and technologies that get deployed in the cloud. As a data scientist at Deepwatch, you are proficient in designing and developing advanced AI / ML / Generative AI based solutions to solve diverse customer problems. You will be working with terabytes of data to solve real-world problems. You will be working closely with business owners, analysts, subject matter experts and strategists to define use cases, and with other scientists and ML engineers on the team to design both experiments and production solutions.

The successful candidate will possess technical skills that will allow you to be the technical “face” of GenAI within our ecosystem as well as directly to end subject matter experts, line managers and executives. You will be able to drive discussions with senior technical and management personnel within the organization and with customers.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Ideate. Work with cyber security experts to help determine the right products to build, which will drive impacts internally and/or externally
  • Innovate. Work with large, complex data sets to develop Generative AI  based solutions that meet of exceed customer expectations
  • Production. Help drive scalable solutions across the multitude of customers.
  • Interact. Work with Deepwatch’s largest clients to assess business and operational needs
  • Problem Solve.  Provide alternate solutions to complex problems, assessing the pros and cons of each solution
  • Represent the Deepwatch brand and company to customers, prospects, and vendors

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

  • 4+ years of data scientist experience
  • 5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
  • Experience with statistical models (e.g. multinomial logistic regression)
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) 
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or Master's degree and 4 years of experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • 2+ years of using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, or similar product
  • Experience managing data pipelines
  • Expertise deploying solutions on AWS

Statutory Pay Disclosure:

For applicants in NYC, CO, CA, RI, and WA, the salary range for this role is $160,000 to $200,000 + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
