The BizOps-Data team helps Bluecore use data to make better decisions, solve customer problems, and grow our business faster. Our mandate is to make data Bluecore’s biggest competitive advantage. We are committed to building a world-class data function by growing a skilled team and using the best modern tools and process (e.g., dbt, Hex). 

We’re seeking an enthusiastic analyst to help our go-to-market function use data to grow our business and delight our customers. Our clients are among the world’s largest and most innovative retail brands, and they rely on Bluecore as a core part of their digital future.  

The right person for this role is an experienced analyst with strong business analytics/reporting skills who thrives working with business users. They’ll work closely with Sales Ops, Sales, and CS to directly support key growth & retention goals. They’ll work in Looker and Hex to build critical analyses and reports.

We’re looking for someone who is excited to be a leader in growing Bluecore’s data driven culture, has deep technical chops, and is passionate about building great data products. 

Responsibilities

  • Design metrics and reporting to measure and improve go-to-market performance.
  • Utilize SQL, Python, Looker, and Hex to build new analyses and expand existing ones.
  • Enable business teams to use data to make informed decisions and understand our customers through training/enablement and documentation.
  • Support development and maintenance of a reliable, accurate and comprehensive single source of truth through data ops best practices, responsible Looker development, and excellent communications & documentation.
  • Collaborate with our analytics engineers to design models that will power product analytics org-wide.
  • Actively communicate findings to stakeholders across the org, including C-suite, GTM/business leadership and technical partners. 

Qualifications

  • Clear and direct communication skills about complex, technical topics, including excellent data storytelling
  • Experience designing and reporting against SaaS & go-to-market metrics
  • Experience with retail analytics, e-commerce and/or digital marketing preferred  
  • Experience with dbt, GitHub/code reviews, and data ops best practices strongly preferred. 
  • 3+ years experience in a data analyst/BI role, preferably focused on Growth, go-to-market, or Sales & CS
  • 2+ experience with BI tooling, preferably Looker 
  • 2+ years working in SQL, including advanced functions
  • 1+ years of Python, including popular packages 
  • Experience working with RevOps teams and tools preferred
