Who you are

The ideal candidate is passionate about the Compensation, HRIS, Reporting and Analytics areas, with some experience working with payroll & benefits teams.  You will have a track record of process improvement and solution delivery, with 8+ years experience in a compensation focused role in a growing, transformational environment. This person thrives in a fast paced, changing and growing organization, specifically within the tech sector. This person can easily navigate between strategic planning and tactical execution, is a self starter, is resourceful and a wizard at delivering work through extended teams, regardless of reporting lines.  This person has been in both large and smaller scale companies, and can therefore bring best practices but adapt them to fit our Drizly needs. 

What the role is

In this new Head of Compensation & Analytics role, you will guide the continued development of Drizly’s total rewards and analytics programs as we grow and scale. You will lead all aspects of compensation and analytics, including compensation strategy, market studies to ensure equity & competitiveness, accurate job architecture,  dashboards and insights to Business and People teams. With a strong customer focus you are passionate about inspiring change and taking our compensation & analytics programs and practices to the next level!

This role will require a strategic mindset where you can assess the current state and work with business partners to drive changes so our compensation system is modernized and fits our current needs.  This person will also develop a longer term roadmap, and be able to execute through that plan and measure key milestones.  

The Head of Compensation & Analytics will need to build a team over time,  while collaborating with partners in the People and Finance team on various initiatives relating to our internal reporting needs. You will provide insight to facilitate the right business decisions and to assist in identifying areas of opportunity.

This role is critical to ensure Drizly stays competitive and nimble in our approach to Total Rewards so we can attract, develop and retain top talent. This position also plays a crucial role with internal reporting and analytics to help us make the right business decisions across all pillars of the people team.  

In this role you will:

    • Operationalize and maintain a new compensation philosophy and job architecture, including market ranges for all job families and regions.
    • Lead the assessment of our current HRIS systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, and advise on a potential new system for Drizly, or how to better leverage our current system
    • Support and own processes such as the annual salary review process, budget planning, equity administration. 
    • Oversee and lead reporting efforts including dashboards and insights to business partners
    • Build a team to support analytics & compensation systems and programs as we continue to grow and scale

For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $137,386 per year - $161,631 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Drizly's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, commissions, & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
