Who you are

You can balance the needs and priorities of external strategic partners and internal business partners to grow existing revenue streams and help launch new ones. You understand how to collaborate efficiently and build customer empathy to get to the root of problems they’re facing. You’re familiar with being the closest technical contact for non-technical teams and can clearly break down sophisticated topics.

You have been responsible for work that include dashboards, quarterly business reviews, robust insight/reports, forecasts, and data driven recommendations. You are a strong bottom-line and business-metrics oriented mind and make decisions and recommendations accordingly.

You speak SQL fluently and are comfortable with a modern-day analytics stack. You understand data infrastructure concepts and standard methodologies for maintaining a codebase, and you have a technical abilities that mirrors that of a proficient analyst (SQL, git, visualization tools, command line).

What the role is

This role focuses on crafting trust and sharing knowledge with partners across a variety of different business functions. You’ll use our analytics stack (dbt, Snowflake, Looker) to address business needs around data, performance, and insights on our platform. You’ll be encouraged to contribute to our broader analytics workflow and culture while serving as an external facing resource for key partners.

You will be supporting a variety of business functions where the problems you’ll be solving will be different every day.

One of the primary responsibilities of this position is to understand the current problems of our partners and teams, create and recommend innovative solutions to solve those problems, and drive overall business strategy through clear and concise data visualization. This will require new data models, extensive work in embedded Looker, and likely some new metrics that will define how we measure the success of our business - we have the power to change the game and how it’s played.

In this role you will:

    • Function as the primary analytics resource for Drizly’s internal operations teams, supporting business strategy from the ground up partners across beer, wine, and liquor
    • Refine, prioritize, and execute Operations Analytics opportunities in a collaborative manner
    • Work with large and sophisticated SQL databases. Build data flows and dashboards to support rapidly growing reporting and visualization efforts - both internally and externally
    • Provide insights-as-a-service, surface and communicate BevAlc ecommerce trends, and evaluate the performance of both internal teams and overall markets operating within the Drizly platform
    • Collaborate with and support the broader Analytics Team, while improving the internal processes, documentation, standards, workflow of analytics at Drizly

The Other Stuff:

    • Salary Range: $60,400 - $134,000. Your compensation will be based on your experience level, skills, and location within the United States
