About The Role
As the Head of Enterprise Analytics you will lead the team responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of solutions that optimize and automate our fulfillment operations. Through the development of new or the enhancement of existing tools used by the broader operations org, your team will improve how efficiently and effectively we leverage data and systems to drive better outcomes. You will manage measurement, insights, reporting, and dashboarding solutions for the key initiatives, proactively mitigate risks, and manage multiple stakeholders to help drive business decision making. In this role, you will partner with the Operations, Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to identify and test new ideas quickly, maintain agility, and support the design and scoping of hardened technical investments.

Role Responsibilities

    • Responsible for setting the team vision, long term analytics strategy, and championing the use of data in guiding decisions.
    • Manage the Analytics organization including hiring, support, and performance development.
    • Lead initiatives that improve efficacy and efficiency of existing operational processes or unlock new capabilities.
    • Partner with leaders across the company to improve business outcomes through measurement, analysis, and advice.
    • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop analytics infrastructure and  define best practices
    • Operate on multiple levels: From engaging on strategic initiatives to coaching analysts on data-wrangling and problem-solving work 
    • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ideate, opportunity size, and execute strategic business initiatives that improve customer and user experience, design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams access to large datasets
    • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
    • Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions.

Skills Needed

    • 5+ years of work experience in advanced analytics, business intelligence or similar capacity, leading data discoveries, strategies and discussion with non technical stakeholders in the business
    • 2+ years of experience managing Business Analytics function including people management
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL, intermediate knowledge of Python/R or similar programming language
    • Proficient using at least one data visualization product (Tableau, Looker, Mode, QuickSight, Power BI, etc.)
    • Ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholders
    • Exceptional business judgment to craft analysis plans that prove or disprove hypotheses, especially to understand not just the “what” (“what’s happening in our business?”) but the “so what” (“why does this matter and what is it telling us about potential next steps?”)
    • Strong quantitative, problem-solving and technical writing background, including ability to directly execute end-to-end analysis plans, support junior team members in troubleshooting SQL or Tableau, and hands-on data visualization abilities to help your team highlight insights via data-driven storytelling
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence non-technical audiences with analytical insights and data visualizations

Bonus points if

    • Bachelor's and/or Advanced degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
    • Experience with online A/B testing, causal inference frameworks, or other methods for using data to measure cause and effect
    • Previous experience leading an operations or analytics team at a consumer, financial services, or property technology company

For CO Residents Only, and in accordance with C.R.S. Sec. 8-5-101 et seq., the estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $240,000 per year.
