Who are we looking for? 

We’re looking for a product-minded data analyst with experience working with healthcare data to improve how we use and interpret our extensive healthcare data set to power Amino’s products. As a member of the Data Insights team, you will work with a cross-functional group of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop the models and data pipelines that power all of Amino’s products. You will have the opportunity to dive deep into our broad set of health data to discover insights to improve our product offering as well as create new products.

• Have substantial knowledge of healthcare and healthcare data
• Have a background in quantitative analysis 
• Are comfortable reading and gaining insights from the healthcare literature
• Are interested in developing data science and data engineering skills  
• Are able to work well both independently and collaboratively

What you will do: 

• Lead analysis and reporting using SQL and interactive dashboards
• Collaborate with data scientists on the development of our cost and quality models
• Work closely with the engineering team to refine and develop stronger data pipelines
• Conduct research on healthcare policies and regulations
• Respond to data analysis requests from the growth, sales and marketing teams 

Skills and Experience you possess:

• Experience working with healthcare data 
• Quantitative analysis experience 
• Proficiency in SQL
• 1-3 years experience in an fast-paced data analytics environment
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong documentation and verbal communication skills 

Nice to have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Information systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or healthcare field
• Prior experience with BI/visualization tools such as Looker 
• Experience working with Python
