JOB REPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conducts statistical analyses to answer complex business questions
    • Analyzes various data sources: administrative claims, electronic medical records, surveys, patient-reported outcomes, operational data
    • Partners with stakeholders, applies analytic findings to enhance clinical and operational processes, improves customer experience, clinical, and financial outcomes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4+ years of professional experience in healthcare advanced data analysis, modeling, and translating analytic findings into insight for business audiences
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience accessing and summarizing data from large databases (e.g. using SQL), implementing statistical analysis, modeling, and data mining methods (e.g. using R, Python, STATA, SAS), and visualizing data for business audiences (e.g. using Tableau)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience with retrospective study methods, including econometric techniques (e.g. propensity score matching, instrumental variables)
    • Experience with prospective study design and measurement (e.g. power analysis, A/B testing, experimental design and randomization)
    • Experience with healthcare utilization forecasting, risk modeling, and patient segmentation
    • Publication and presentation record in high-caliber healthcare, economics, statistical methods and machine learning venues
    • Ability to collaborate with non-technical partners to participate in identification of business needs and formulation of analytic solutions
    • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
    • Meet/exceed the company’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
    • Meet/exceed the company's leadership principles requirements for this role
