Supports the strategic vision and thinking methodologies of Ventures practices. Understands practice operations, customer value drivers, emerging market trends, and the competitive landscape to introduce novel ideas, new methods, and process improvement and enhancements to existing systems to create a culture of innovation. Collaborates with Ventures leadership, internal teams, and outside partners to experiment, test and implement innovation solutions.

Support and provide innovative insight to make informed and strategic business decisions.

Analyze competitive market data and interprets trends and patterns in datasets.

Recommend strategic and tactical plans based on business data and knowledge of the market and internal organization.

Recognize innovation opportunities that support market trends and business needs. Synthesize external research and internal business analysis to identify actionable, testable ideas.

Coordinate the collection, development, and dissemination of innovative ideas that will enables Ventures to achieve its strategic goals. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and activities.

Lead strategy discussions and collaborate with others to evaluate innovative practices, share ideas, expand innovation, set plans, and implement practices that are in line with company goals and objectives.

Participate in implementing strategic innovation initiatives. Conduct research to collect data and background information for innovation projects.

Collect data and perform analysis of initiatives to quantify results. Prepare and present exhibits and summaries that detail innovation efforts.

Progress ideas to opportunities with evidence and proof acquired through iterative experiments and development processes.

Develop success metrics to evaluate the viability and feasibility of new ideas.

Translate identified opportunities into specific programs and projects.

Critically evaluate projects and support decisions to optimize resource allocation.

Collaborate in the potential handoff of innovation upon commercialization to operations teams.

Job Specifications:

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in related field; or related experience.

Minimum 6 years' experience in relevant topics including: Innovation, Consulting, operations development, etc.

Knowledge of innovation processes, project life-cycle management methodologies, business case development, and operational analysis.

Must have excellent facilitation, communication, planning, and negotiation skills.

Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate with cross-functional groups.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations and rapidly changing priorities.

Quick learner and ability to refocus attention.

Demonstrated ability and/or experience in leading initiatives, entrepreneurial cultures, and/or investment strategies.

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $80,000.00 - $135,000.00
