As Junior Data Analyst you will help support every area of Scott's Cheap Flights by using data to answer questions and solve problems.
In the short term:
- Learn the data ecosystem and flow through
- Learn the data structures and systems existing and in process
- Begin to engage with existing reporting
In the long term, you will:
- Field data requests from stakeholders
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports
- Provide training for new employees on data at SCF and ZA
What you know:
- Demonstrable willingness to to learn new technologies and methods of work
- Willingness to engage stakeholders to understand questions, business problems, and provide actionable solutions
- Willingness to ask questions, clarify answers, and set expectations
- SQL, any flavor
- Experience using advanced functionality of a visualization platform (any platform is fine)
- Demonstrable experience moving analytics from information to actionable insights
Preferred:
- Experience with subscription business models
- Experience in a supporting role on a team whose sole purpose is to make other people look good
- Experience with Fivetran, Segment, dbt, BigQuery, Zoho Analytics, Google Analytics, Notion, GitHub
