**This role can be completely remote, sitting anywhere within the US**

ICF is looking for a seasoned software engineer who has significant experienceusingAWS analytics products (such as Redshift and QuickSight), open-source data engineering technologies (such as Airflow and DBT), and strong SQL and Python programming skills.

You will provide technical leadership to an Agile team of data scientists, data engineers, and DevSecOpsengineers who are buildingan analytics solution that includes business intelligence, modern data warehousing, DataOps and MLOps capabilities and supports a large number of analysts and data scientists working in the healthcare domain. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement data analytics solutions utilizing AWS cloud and open-source technologies includingQuickSight, Redshift,Lambda, Fargate, EMR/Spark, Airflow, Data Build Tool (DBT) using Python and SQL
    • Contribute to product design and strategy using experience in DataOps, MLOps, or other analytics expertise. 
    • Provide technical leadership to a team of data engineers, data scientists, and DevSecOps engineers. 
    • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.

Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with AWS and open-source data engineering technologies or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. 
    • 5+ years of experience designing software applications as well as strong software development skills. 
    • 5+ years' experience using SQL and Python  
    • Candidate must have resided in the United States 3 of the last 5 years.
    • Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance 
    • Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science  
    • AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Developer, Solution Architect, Data Analytics, or Database). 
    • Strong understanding of relational database and data warehousing concepts (e.g., OLAP, dimensional modeling). 
    • Prior experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid data. 
    • Experience with one or more BI tools, such as Superset, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker, etc. 
    • Prior experience working remotely full-time. 
    • Federal Government contracting work experience.

    • Demonstrated time management skills 
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
    • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and structuring and analytical skills
