Translucent is taking advantage of the latest data tools & techniques to build a next generation accounting system. As such the Data Team will be at the very heart of the company and the product.

The Role

This role will be part of the founding Data Team. You will have the opportunity to set the architecture, the toolset, the schemas, etc.

You will lead the small Data Team (<5 to begin with) building the MVP of our product alongside our Dev team and our Data Science team.

You will be working with financial and accounting data from source through to the myriad applications of the data: from board reports to statutory accounts, from forecasting to benchmarking.

You have years of experience working with the modern data, analytics and business intelligence tools and translating business needs into data models and solution design.

You are able to create effective data architectures; experienced with modern data stacks (from AWS to dbt); proficient in modelling data and used to deploying production-standard code (including Python & SQL).
