  • Key Responsibilities

    Data Pipelines

    • Review the current ETL framework of data pipelines and propose new initiatives to improve reliability and overall robustness.
    • Work side by side with BI Architects and BI Developers to create and ensure best practices and guidelines are being used properly by all projects.
    • Assess and communicate effectively the effort for required developments.
    • Be in charge of build and maintain data pipelines for new and existing initiatives.


    Model Automation

    • Create and maintain predictive model automations, to execute and deliver data, both in online and offline executions.
    • Automate feature transformations for machine learning models.
    • Develop a framework to control main KPIs for model accuracy, to automate re-train, alert when a lower threshold has been hit and keep healthy models running.


    Data Analysis and Availability

    • Discover new data sources to improve new and existing data products.
    • Provide feedback and expert point of view as needed to help thrive all data initiatives in the company.
    • Improve quality of existing and new data processes, incorporating statistical process control


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics or quantitative focused study

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer or similar.
  • Experience data pipelines and ETL processes in modern technologies, such as Python, Spark, Airflow, etc.
  • Experience putting ML models in production, preferably using ML Framework, such as KubeFlow, MLFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Deep experience in data analysis and manipulation, both in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working on a cloud-based environment, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge and overall understanding of popular machine learning algorithms.
  • Highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive in taking ownership of projects and issues.
  • Capability to manage several projects and areas.
  • Passionate about learning and implementing new data-related technologies in the market.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

  • Eager to take on new challenges and learn new things.

  • Experience in marketing analytics or e-commerce analytics (desirable).
