We are looking for a Manager, FP&A - Product Analytics that is passionate about developing a deep understanding of the business and using data to drive important strategic analysis and operational decision-making. This role will lead new product analytics.

What you'll do

    • Support product team on market sizing and demand testing of new products
    • Define, measure and monitor new product KPIs (e.g. penetration, conversion, profitability, impact on LTV, etc.)
    • Support the end-to-end process of designing and analyzing A/B or multivariate testing programs related for new products
    • Deliver data and insights that drive decision-making, execution and investments for our product initiatives 
    • Translate business questions into analytic hypotheses, KPIs and reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with business partners to maintain local competitive landscape analysis and help evaluate Tala’s greenfield opportunities
    • Develop best practices, build process improvements, and mentor analysts, if any,  to improve overall analytics function at the company

    • You have strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels to understand their interests and goals

What you'll need

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, product and/or analytics; comfort with financial modeling
    • Strong proficiency in Excel required; experience with data analytics languages (e.g. SQL, Python) and/or data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Amplitude, Tableau) strongly preferred
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
