Are you looking to use your creativity and analytical mindset to play a key role in advancing our market-leading frozen breakfast Eggo brand?  In the Manager, Shopper Insights role, you will act as a strategic business partner across frozen breakfast brand commercial teams to provide shopper, channel, and account-level insights for our customers. Consumers and shoppers are at the heart of everything we create!  This role is a remote opportunity but applicants would need to reside in CA, CO, IL, KY, MI, MN, NJ, NC, or OH.

As a trusted Shopper Insights expert, you will play a pivotal role in helping to drive stronger understanding of the evolving shopper journey to guide our transformation to meet our shoppers where they are. With your strong understanding of consumer and shopper needs, you will be able to bring our shoppers to life in compelling ways, identify shopper conversion opportunities, and assist with the development of marketing and sales initiatives. Excited for what lies ahead? HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Collaboration is Key – You will actively engage with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize key business issues and translate them into strategic learning plans to drive breakthrough strategies. You will work closely with the Shopper Insights centralized team in order to create synergies and uncover opportunities. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize and democratize shopper learnings across the organization.

New Ideas Welcome! – Did a light bulb just go off? Tell us more! You will lead the development and evaluation of new ideas with dependable and insightful tools to provide teams with a strong understanding of shopper potential for our innovative ideas. You will help retail partners evolve the frozen breakfast aisle, helping to modernize and improve the shopping experience.

Analytics Drive Actions – You will tell compelling stories with insights curated from disparate data sources (existing, syndicated, POS, and custom research) and marketplace trends, identifying channel and retailer-specific opportunities, and influencing stakeholder actions to grow the frozen breakfast category and increase Kellogg share.

Top-notch Tools – You will partner with key vendors to continually refine and improve our shopper discovery solutions.  We are looking to you to help elevate the impact of the Insights function on the business by challenging the status quo, providing deep, behavior-based shopper insights, and ensuring research efforts are focused on commercial applicability/impact.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

 Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry primary market research experience and/or Category Strategy/Customer Marketing/Sales experience
  • Expert understanding of and a proven ability to tell a story using syndicated data and analytics such as (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator etc.) in addition to other research tools
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to include the ability to influence and present effectively
  • Excellent project and time management skills are essential
  • Excellent computer skills and database management, including experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint
