Role Overview

ID.me is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to work with our Product Operations team. This person will quickly deliver insights, review and develop metrics, and contribute to improved business processes to scale analytics that supports our explosive growth. The successful candidate for this role will work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Product organizations to drive efficient and accurate marketing campaign execution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Tableau and other tools.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Product and Marketplaces teams to define and analyze metrics for business and product performance
  • Use data visualization and storytelling techniques to successfully convey insights and impact decisions/outcomes to leadership
  • Conduct member analysis to understand the behaviors and demographics of our members. Share insights with product, marketing, and sales teams. 
  • Conduct partner analysis to understand how to make marketplace matching work better to help partners succeed in each category. Arm the product, marketing and sales teams with key inputs on how to help partners succeed.
  • Create dashboards to help product, sales, and marketing consume Marketplaces information in a self-service fashion
  • Create and maintain key SQL queries that product, sales, and marketing can use to get data. Train the teams on how to be more self-sufficient in running queries.
  • Drive pricing analysis to help optimize affiliate commissions (and paid placement pricing)
  • Ensure data accuracy in dashboards and work on any data migration efforts 
  • Dive deeper on certain AB tests to understand customer behavior.
  • Work with engineering to configure existing and new data extensions, APIs, and queries to optimize reporting

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in data analytics, business analytics, statistical modeling, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree is required (in Mathematics, Economics or related field is preferred)
  • Demonstrating data querying, exploration and validation; SQL and DBT
  • Knowledgeable of B2C marketing automation and operations best practices
  • Demonstrating the ability to tell stories with data through the use of data visualization, dashboards and/or slides calling out key data insights; Tableau and Lookr
  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback in a constructive way
