About the Role
Opendoor has experienced unprecedented growth and expansion in the last several years and the complexity of marketing operations has increased in tandem. We continue to invest in the marketing function as a lever for growth, as evidenced by increasing annual budgets and high visibility with leadership. We are looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst for the Performance Marketing team to manage and scale marketing operations.  

This role will be responsible for optimizing marketing processes, measuring marketing performance, and managing marketing data. This role partners closely with Finance, Analytics, and Engineering to increase efficiency and drive growth.    

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a growth mindset and is able to provide insights and analytics on marketing data.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Managing multiple marketing data sources & data pipelines to ensure marketing data integrity and processing unstructured marketing data to provide a unified view for performance.  
    • Analyzing top-of-funnel marketing data through to bottom-of-funnel data with strong attention to detail and accuracy and monitoring marketing performance by developing marketing metrics & dashboards
    • Deriving strategic performance insights from marketing data and communicating recommendations in a strategic format for performance optimizations across all performance marketing channels, markets, and lines of business 
    • Recognizing opportunities, solving problems with an act from ownership approach
    • Cross-functional partnership with Analytics, Finance, and Engineering
    • Assisting in channel operations such as tracking, targeting, and ad operations

We’re looking for teammates who have:

    • 2-5 years of experience working in a marketing operations or analytical role
    • Hands-on experience with Excel Modeling, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Mode, Tableau)Ability to strategically communicate, engage and explain complex data analysis and insights across a range of audiences
    • People describe you as exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a team player
    • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
    • Domain knowledge in acquisition marketing channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Direct Mail, TV and Radio

Bonus Points:

    • Programming skills (Python)
    • Experience with marketing channel management (e.g. Paid Search, Paid Social, TV, Radio, and Direct Mail)      
    • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Experience in the real estate industry
