Our Opportunity:

Carewell is looking for a Merchandise Data Analyst to help drive data-first decisions through new report development, implementation and its analysis. This role will work directly with the Product and Site Merchandising team to support our quickly evolving business, site performance and distribution channels.

The ideal candidate is passionate about enabling teams to get the most from their data and analytics, and enjoys cross-functional collaboration as well as making a significant impact across total Carewell. They love unlocking new opportunities and will have a growth mindset while understanding the bottom-line impacts of the decisions they help to drive. 

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create and maintain reporting tools by transforming data into information via dashboards, reports, and other data products that enable stakeholders to drive decisions
  • Understand and articulate insights regarding product demand, inventory position, product conversion, price, profitability, and distributor performance from your reporting
  • Serve as a cross-functional partner across the merchandising team including both site and product merchandising team members
  • Working with disparate data sources to bring data forward and enable key business decisions
  • Support merchandise initiatives with high-level data
  • Work with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to identify data opportunities; improving intelligence of overall business

This is a remote full-time, salaried role without specific, set hours.

What you’ll need:

  • 4 year degree in related discipline.
  • 3+ years of progressive analytical experience in e-commerce with demonstrated understanding of retail math concepts and practices.  
  • Proficiency in writing high quality, performance SQL against complex data sources. 
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Excel.
  • Solid professional communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects and deadlines.
  • Background in Google Analytics, Google Studio a plus
