Role Summary
As a member of our Mobile Insights team, you will leverage your passion for crafting engaging stories and deep knowledge of the mobile app ecosystem to bring Sensor Tower’s expert insights to the world in compelling new ways. This role will play a critical part in sharing our research with customers, media, analysts, and others who seek up-to-the-minute insight into this exciting market.

What you will do:
- Analyze large, extensive data sets to collect insights for external facing content
- Collaborate with Mobile Insights Strategists to support their content creation by helping define methodology, performing analyses, and answering unconventional questions using data
- Build and maintain an array of queries to aid in automating recurring analyses and optimizing complicated data pulls
- Create clear, compelling, and illuminating data visualizations for use both internally and in external-facing content such as reports and blog posts
- Research and implement marketing and publishing strategies that align with our business goals
- Work closely with leaders of our various functional teams to identify their immediate ad-hoc data insight needs
Experience that we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or above in economics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science or other field with strong statistical basis
- 2+ years applied experience in business intelligence, data mining, analytics, or statistical modeling
- Practical knowledge and familiarity with querying data from databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tool sets, coding languages, and techniques (R, Java, Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with one or more statistical visualization or graphing toolkits (MS Excel, Tableau, etc.)
- A passion for data analysis and presentation of data insights - an interest in mobile gaming is a plus!
Nice to Have
- Intermediate-to-advanced graphic design training
- Mobile app industry experience
- Communications experience
