As an Operational Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in driving data insights and optimizing operational performance within our organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that empower decision-makers across various departments. This position reports to the Director of Digital Innovation, or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is located in New York, NY and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 20%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Data Visualization and Reporting: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI, providing clear insights into operational performance and key metrics.
    • Technical Resource: Act as a thought leader for business users looking to build BI capacity.
    • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into actionable requirements for analytics solutions.
    • Data Analysis and Insights: Perform exploratory data analysis, identify trends, patterns, and outliers, and provide meaningful insights to drive operational improvements.
    • Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics: Utilize Python and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models that optimize operational efficiency and support forecasting.
    • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executives, project managers, and data engineers, to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in operational analytics, and identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI, with a strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
    • Experience working in the construction or renewable energy sectors is preferred, with knowledge of relevant operational metrics and industry-specific challenges.
    • Basic programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning libraries and techniques for predictive analytics is a plus.
    • Proficiency in modern data engineering frameworks like Snowflake/Redshift and DBT, with hands-on experience in data modeling and transformation is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time.
$105,000 - $125,000 a year
The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

·  Climb: occasionally ascends/descends on stairway to get to office upper and lower floors
