Summary 
The Payments & Risk team at Fast strives daily to build and operate a world-class payment processing platform free of payment failures, void of fraud and as reliable as clockwork for both buyers and sellers engaged in e-commerce across the Internet. Our team is searching for an experienced Payments Analyst to join our growing team.

As a Payments Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for monitoring, analyzing, reporting, and actioning on key performance indicators such as uptime, payment success rate and payments cost.

Role

    • Query large data sets to generate insights and reports on payment operations such as payment decline rates and reasons, interchange cost, buyer and seller attributes, payment methods used, etc
    • Collaborate with the data science team to optimize reporting capabilities
    • Collaborate with the operations team to spot performance issues or improvement opportunities
    • Communicate findings of analysis to various stakeholders such as operations, engineering, vendors, customers, executives
    • Use payment processing knowledge to recommend process or product enhancements based on analysis
    • Generate and disseminate reports to support various payment operations functions
    • Support ad hoc inbound questions on payment performance issues
    • Research and respond to customer payment questions and issues
    • Use payment processing knowledge and analytics skills to build scalable processes for our rapidly growing payment operations

Requirements

    • Strong knowledge, proficiency and experience of working with SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
    • Experience working in payment processing, e-commerce operations, and/or financial services
    • Experience with card payment processing is a big plus
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment in a completely remote setting
