The Opportunity

One Medical is a rapidly growing organization with approximately 4000 team members across different service lines, departments, and roles. Our people analytics is the backbone for nearly everything we do at One Medical, from attracting and hiring new talent, to understanding turnover, to performance management. As we continue to grow and scale, we are developing more robust people analytics function to meet the reporting needs of our internal people experience and cross functional stakeholders. to support the needs of One Medical. Reporting to the People Programs and Strategy Director, we are looking for an experienced data analyst who  will champion reporting needs for all facets of the People Experience team, working  closely with cross functional teams on their people analytics needs.

You will thrive in this role if you enjoy problem solving and have a knack for telling a story with data. Tech-savvy, you adapt to new software quickly and know your way around reporting tools such as Tableau. What you'll likely work on:

  • Work with the People Programs and Strategy Director to build a robust People Analytics program
  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners 
  • Work directly with Talent Acquisition and HRIS teams to re-design, optimize and build new reports
  • Develop reports for various business needs and venues
  • Developing a robust People Experience dashboard that meets the various business needs of the organization

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in people analytics
  • Experience using HRIS systems, preferably Workday
  • Proficient with spreadsheets (google sheets, excel), SQL, and Scripting
  • Background in statistics and statistical analysis a plus
  • Experience manipulating large data sets, joining multiple datasets and aggregating data to create metrics to feed into cohesive narratives
  • Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Experience generating and building reports for various stakeholders and advising on the structure and build of reports
  • Experience in creating dashboards and data stories
  • Strong proactive problem solving capabilities, using both quantitative and and qualitative methods to get things done and bring things to scale
  • Superb attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
