The Opportunity

One Medical is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to help develop a world-class data and analytics product team. The company is deeply committed to providing a value-driven, high quality experience for our patients – at the backbone of this mission is data. In this role, you will be a major contributor to the broader data vision for the company. Your work will ultimately drive the future of healthcare data product management to grow our value-based care business, empower high quality care delivery, and improve healthcare outcomes.

You are an impact-driven, systems thinker with a passion for translating data exploration into data products and analytics to drive business value for the company. With your portfolio, you will be responsible for the product management of the full lifecycle of data, building from raw data streams to performance measurement. You will achieve multiplicative business impact by synthesizing your healthcare domain knowledge and quantitative view into a unified data product vision.

What you'll work on:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the company on identifying new opportunities for data to deliver high-quality healthcare to patients, increase operational efficiency, and drive growth.
  • Build data products throughout the data lifecycle to democratize data access. You will translate data explorations into a streamlined source-of-truth analytics layer that will be leveraged across One Medical products and business users.
  • Work with data teams spanning analytics, data engineering, and machine learning to develop data products that build towards an interoperable, value-driven data ecosystem.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and data teams to lay out data strategy, performance measurement, and roadmaps to deliver insights and analytics for value-based care delivery and population health management.
  • Translate a deep understanding of our customers and our technology into a product vision, including defining a set of requirements with data, product, and business teams that achieves incremental value delivery.

ou’ll need:

  • 5+ years of Product Management and experience in a data function (e.g. analytics, data science), preferably in a healthcare-related field
  • Proficiency with SQL with an ability to translate your qualitative understanding of healthcare data into SQL to shape your vision and deliver high quality data products
  • Experience building data analytics products, tools, and business insights in an agile environment
  • Strong customer & patient focus. - Track record of delivering high quality data products that meet the needs of end-users
  • Experience working with performance management teams and setting expectations on deliverables
  • Deep data fluency, and a comfort working with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to help translate data in a database to its real world applications

You’ll be set up for success if you have the following:

  • A passion for driving data literacy and data democratization within your organization to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Previous experience working with a modern data stack (e.g. Snowflake, dbt/Redshift, Looker/Tableau)
  • Able to turn a broad array of requests and opportunities into a clear, credible plan of action that aligns to company objectives. Uses data and decision-making frameworks to ensure rigorous prioritization of opportunities and translating ideas into concrete, incremental delivery of value to the business.
  • Have prior healthcare experience, e.g. risk adjustment, population health management, quality, clinical performance measurement, value-based care delivery. Prior experience working with US healthcare data, ideally with experience in secondary use of medical claims data, a strong plus but not required.
