Our People Analytics Manager will lead the next iteration of self-service dashboard access while surfacing and delivering key insights that drive people strategy at Toast. You will work closely with stakeholders on the People team (e.g. Compensation; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion;  Performance; Learning & Development), People Analytics, and across the business to translate data/insight needs into strategic action through dashboards, executive readouts, research studies, and more.   

 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Lead the next generation of people data self service at Toast 
    • Identify and manage stakeholder needs, 
    • Build and deliver dashboards that balance flexibility, customization and ease of use to a range of new stakeholders
    • Redesign delivery models
    • Expand data literacy across the People Team through training, coaching, etc. 
  • Empower change agents at all levels of the organization to better attract, engage, and retain top talent with data. 
  • Discover and present data insights and recommendations to leaders within the people team and across the organization 
  • Conduct internal and external research to help stakeholders maximize productivity while creating the ultimate employee experience.  
  • Embed your work in compliance with a data ethics & integrity strategy across all systems, including data entry, ongoing development, auditing, & monitoring of data quality & confidentiality standards

 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience in an advanced analytical position
  • Experience stitching together data from multiple sources to tell an accurate and effective story
  • Experience with the tools in our technical stack (or equivalent): Greenhouse, Workday, Qualtrics, Tableau, Snowflake
  • Experience in a People Analytics or Human Resources department
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complicated solutions in a simple, digestible way with data
  • Experience managing leadership-level stakeholder needs
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis methods and best practices
  • Advanced data visualization skills using Tableau or something similar
  • Proficient in using SQL and either R or python
  • Experience working with confidential data
  • Desire and enthusiasm for operating in the gray
  • Ability to distill complex data patterns into compelling stories through slide decks, executive summaries, etc.
