About the role:

As the Principal People Analytics Partner, you will build and lead our HR Analytics strategy and deliver business critical insights to enable better decision making on one of our greatest assets - human capital.  This role will report to the Head of Total Rewards and HR Operations and will work closely with our Chief People Officer.

In this role, you will:

Build for the Long Term

  • Develop & drive the successful implementation of a comprehensive HR Analytics Strategy and roadmap.
  • Leads the design of global HR metrics and internal/external benchmarking, including cross-functional and company-wide data mining and analytics on employee data trends.
  • Analyze and recommend, develop, and optimize existing and future HR information systems functionality for data & reporting enhancements.
  • Establish & ensure governance, privacy and consistency in the sharing of HR data to support external business units

Win as a Team

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the employment lifecycle, HR service delivery, and the business to understand and report on holistic data patterns to support People programs and data insights.

Focus on Customer Success

  • Translate analytic insights into actionable recommendations or plans for the People leadership team.  
  • Prepare clear, concise reports, dashboards, and presentations (to business leaders, including executives) to explain data and data trends to facilitate workforce decision making.
  • Proactively pursue opportunities to enhance the usage of workforce analytics for decision making, and advise People leaders on key opportunities and insights discovered by data.

An ideal candidate has:

  • Undergraduate Degree in related field or relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in HR Analytics, Data Science, or other related disciplines
  • Experience with Workday, with an emphasis on security, reporting, and analytics
  • Advanced skills in G suite, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Human Resources practices, business processes, controls, systems and strategies
  • Experience using other data analytics applications such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide and senior audience, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analysis
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Artful storytelling – go beyond the data to deliver insights
  • Strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and priorities
