About The Role:

Come help Edison users save time and do more. As a Product Strategy Analyst on the Consumer Data Science team, you will be responsible for cooperating with design, marketing, and engineering teams to shape the future of Edison’s consumer products. In this role, you’ll leverage statistical intuition, business acumen, and communication skills to influence product and growth strategy with actionable, data-driven insights. 

As Our Product Strategy Analyst You Will:

  • Decompose complex business questions into their component parts and synthesize datasets to extract value 
  • Improve availability and reliability of existing product data sources 
  • Develop and support standardized product and growth KPIs 
  • Empower and collaborate with engineers, designers, and marketers to harness data to inform short-term and long-term product strategy 

You Are Likely To Succeed If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, data science, or other quantitative role 
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Sound understanding of statistics 
  • Bachelors in social science (Economics, Sociology), Statistics, related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Ability to succinctly communicate findings across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled at breaking down a problem into its components & producing actionable suggestions

Nice to Have:

  • 2+ years of product analytics experience, preferably in a mobile app setting
  • A/B testing experience and/or knowledge of causal inference
  • Working knowledge of python and/or distributed data technologies (e.g., Spark)

  • The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $100K ~ $150K. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. The compensation package also includes equity.
  • This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
