The Report Specialist role primarily creates solutions by developing and support PillarRx’s standard ‘monthly and quarterly reporting’ for all clients by leveraging best in class tools, including Qlik Sense. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing analytical support by collaborating with the Account Management teams to further research findings found within the analysis by talking through observations and what opportunities or concerns those facts present.  Engaging directly with external clients to support the Account Management team when reporting questions are asked and/or if reporting metrics need further explanation is required.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting accurately and timely on behalf of the PillarRx clients
  • Attend meetings and act as a subject matter expert in data analytics and reporting concepts
  • Work with IT teammates to implement new reporting tools and capabilities, specifically Qlik Sense.
  • Complete ad-hoc reporting requests and projects as needed.
  • Responsible for end-to-end design and development of Qlik Sense application.
  • Identify areas of improvement or enhancement that could elevate the PillarRx reporting suite
  • Support the Account Management team with observations within the reporting metrics and collaborate to bring explanations and further research to those observations to discover opportunities and/or concerns
  • Assist with continually enhancing and building out the user reporting interface with new reports, visuals and functionality for both internal users and clients
  • Support internal projects for enhancing in-house functionality surrounding the PillarRx reporting capabilities
  • This position will include job duties that require risk designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of their job responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Required

  • Hands on experience with Qlik Sense development, dashboarding, and data modeling and reporting techniques.
  • Proficient in SQL query language
  • Direct experience in developing reports within the healthcare industry regarding prescription benefits, pharmacy health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, or similar industry methodologies
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a data science related field of study
