Within the Revenue Operations team, we believe firmly that data should drive all critical GTM decisions for the company.  As part of our team, and in this role, you will have the opportunity to inform business decisions across multiple customer-facing organizations at Narvar through the analyses and insights you generate.  

You are proactive, with the ability to thrive in environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders with varying priorities.  You can more than hold your own with the day-to-day requests, but your real passion is digging deep, reconciling what you see with the “why”, and surfacing overlooked trends and indicators that could lead to better GTM decisions. 

Day-to-day

  • You provide timely quantitative and qualitative insights to Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide ad-hoc and operational reporting, and to enable sound data-driven business decisions.
  • On a regular basis, you audit sales & customer success data to ensure integrity in collection and reporting, and identify cause of errors and resolve at source.
  • You proactively identify business analytics gaps, and provide recommendations around how to fill those gaps in an automated/scalable way.
  • You build out dashboards in SFDC & BI tool (Looker) and onboard business users to provide greater transparency & consistency throughout the organization.
  • You work with the head of revenue operations to analyze operational financial results and key performance indicators/metrics on a periodic basis, create executive ready presentations, and understand drivers of business growth, risk, and opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years experience in analytics, reporting or insights role such as Sales Ops, BizOps, FP&A, BI, etc.
  • Comfort working with business data in multiple environments, from SFDC reports to Excel/Google Sheets to a BI tool.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can summarize and think “high level”, but aren’t afraid to dig deep into the detail underneath.
  • Extreme attention to detail.  If you’re that person who routinely spots that typo on a slide that nobody else does, we want you! If that typo continues to perturb you enough that you introduce yourself to the presenter and have the typo corrected before prime time, we want you even more!
  • Understanding of CRM systems (Salesforce) + add-ons such as Steelbrick CPQ.
  • Strong desire for, and proven success around, collaboration with cross-functional teams.  
  • An “extreme ownership” mindset.  You will find many opportunities to build your brand by tackling analytics projects end to end, and coordinate across multiple teams.  We’re looking for someone who won’t shy away from these opportunities.
