Your Impact 

You will play a crucial role leveraging data to provide visibility, drive informed decision-making, enhance business processes, and ensure the overall success of the Sales organization. You will be tasked with detailed assessment of business context and stakeholders’ operational needs; analysis, visualization, and reporting; and consultative partnership with Sales leadership. Successful candidates for this role will have prior experience in an analytics-driven environment, are comfortable using analytical tools (such as PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, or Excel), exhibit strong attention to detail, and demonstrate visible pride and ownership in their work. Candidates should be able to communicate complex concepts and problems clearly and use nuanced data to support their findings and arguments.

What You’ll Do 

Location: Remote, USA
Reports to: Manager, Sales Intelligence & Operations  

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to Sales leadership.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various sales metrics and reports.
  • Business Context and Stakeholder Assessment:
    • Engage with Sales leadership and stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and strategic goals.
    • Conduct detailed assessments of business context to inform analysis and reporting efforts.
    • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that drive decision-making.
  • Visualization and Communication:
    • Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
    • Simplify complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Present findings and recommendations to Sales leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Process Enhancement and Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance sales processes through data-driven insights.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and track their impact.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Consultative Partnership:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales leadership, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to align efforts and drive organizational success.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales intelligence and operations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales process optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 52,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 78,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
