About the Role

Abnormal Security is looking for a Senior Analyst, Sales and Customer Success Finance to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A team owns company financial planning, forecasting, financial consolidation and reporting, supporting business insight to sales, marketing, customer success, engineering and foundation teams. This role will help us develop the necessary go-to-market insights and business partnerships to increase top line growth in the most efficient manner . The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of working along with the sales and customer success teams. The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing sales strategy, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring alignment between the Sales and Customer Success teams' initiatives and the company's financial goals.

What you will do 

  • Act as a key business partner for Sales and Customer Success teams, assisting in the development of annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial projections. Support financial planning efforts for headcount and operational expenses.
  • Assist in the weekly and monthly forecasting process for Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), working in coordination with various teams throughout the company. Identify financial risks and opportunities within the sales funnel and customer lifecycle.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor key performance indicators to accurately reflect the financial health and operational efficiency of the Sales and Customer Success departments.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their teams' actual and future capacity in terms of ability to meet operational and investment objectives. Help get clarity on future capacity recommendations with ROI and top line focus.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Strategy and Analytics teams to support the GTM investment strategy through financial modeling.
  • Foster a proactive partnership between Finance and business units, integrating financial management into business operations.
  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner, delivering insightful analysis grounded in data to inform decision-making.





Must Haves 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in FP&A with at least 1 year in a GTM Finance role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.

  • Experience building strong business relationships across different functional areas

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Experience with forecasting and predictive analytics.

  • Proven experience in a SaaS or tech-focused company, ideally in a fast-growth environment.
  • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics and their implications on financial planning.
  • Strong sense of how to use data to answer critical business questions and are motivated by unlocking that capability across the company
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and are customer-obsessed - always going the extra mile to deliver high-quality work for your stakeholders

  • Experience in the Cyber-security and SaaS industries
  • Experience working in a fast-growth private company in series C or above
