Who we are
Path is a healthcare company powered by technology, dedicated to making mental health care work for everyone. Path takes a patient-first approach, where treatment is more accessible, personalized, and effective. With Path, it’s easy to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric clinician who accepts insurance and is actively accepting new patients.
What we’re solving
Over 65 million Americans have a treatable mental health issue — that’s 1 in 5 people. Today it’s difficult to find a provider, and for those with complicated conditions, it’s nearly impossible to find coordinated care. We’re here to fix this.
Our Mission
Path's mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone.
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to enable Path’s Analytics and Operations teams through transformed data-sets. This person will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the business to take raw data from the warehouse and create easy-to-use, high performance, tested data-sets. This person will apply engineering best practices to ensure that high quality data is available in a timely manner for the teams that need it most. You will be the glue between our technical and non-technical teams, driving clarity in requirements to meet the data needs of Path. We’re a healthcare company so HIPAA compliance experience is a plus!
You Will
Refine and create processes for our ELT pipeline (Redshift, dbt, Looker).
Work with stakeholders across the company (Data Engineering, Analytics, Operations) to understand their needs and make sure that tested and usable data-sets are made available in the right analysis tools.
Administer BI tooling by making sure we’re using the right features and the data-sets that make it into those tools are documented for easy hand-off within HIPAA compliance.
Execute our roadmap as new data sources become available to move them through a version controlled process into modeled output.
Advise and implement orchestration throughout our data pipelines.
Optimize queries across reporting for high performance.
Create tests and alerts for data freshness and quality, as well as compliance tagging throughout our ELT pipelines.
You Have
5+ years of experience working directly as a developer in analytics engineering, data engineering or technical analytics.
Expert level SQL skills, with some experience using Python.
Experience with data modeling - you know the popular frameworks and when to apply them.
Experience with orchestration tooling and processes (airflow, prefect, etc)
Process driven mindset - you’ll be tasked with creating repeatable processes for how we define, architect, and deliver against requirements for our ELT pipelines.
Highly collaborative and skilled approach to working with and influencing stakeholders across the company (technical and non-technical audiences).
Highly analytical mindset - you have empathy for your key customers and enjoy helping them understand and make use of the data they need.
Strong communication skills that can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical parties to find the right solution.
Comfort with ambiguity and a high growth/rapidly changing environment.
