We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team! The Senior Analytics Engineer is responsible for integrating and maintaining the health of the modern data stack to support advanced analytics, business intelligence, reverse ETL, and decision making. The goal for this role is to ensure Apply Digital is delivering a consistent and high-quality foundational data infrastructure to power our clients on their digital transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with the Strategy, Product, Project Management, UI/UX & Technology disciplines to define the data requirements and technology stack for projects
• Create and maintain data services for internal and external clients
• Strong understanding of data warehouse and modern data stack: Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Sigma, Hightouch/Segment
• Gather requirements, build roadmaps and write documentation for data sources that need to be modeled in dbt
• Contribute to data architecture as well as data “wrangling”
• Keeps up to date with the latest data practice and trends, to help influence the direction for the Data & Analytics Discipline.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 5 years of relevant experience in a data role working with data warehouses and business intelligence tools
• Proven experience with dbt (data build tool), Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift
• Experience in working with cloud-native, multi-cloud, and hybrid data platforms
• Experience in the use of modern data access and transformation tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, and AirFlow
• Familiar with popular cloud services and methodologies
• Self-starter and passionate about data, technology, and digital solutions
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Engineering. A master’s level education is an asset
