The Role:

The Senior Enterprise Analyst designs reports, builds data-driven processes, and delivers insights to support the work of GA’s Enterprise team. This role sits on the global Data team and reports to the Director of Data, with dotted-line reporting into the Enterprise department.

The Data team is not only responsible for making sure that GA’s data solutions are speedy, intelligent, user-friendly and accessible to employees across the organization, but also works closely with GA’s leadership team, providing them with data-driven insights that drive greater business performance and strategy.

The Data team at GA is made up of a VP of Data, a Director of Data, two Senior Data Engineers, a Data Engineer, and four Senior BI Analysts. Our current data technology stack primarily consists of Redshift, Python, SQL, Tableau, and a simple data replication tool.

The BI team at GA is a small team with significant latitude to solve problems and build scalable solutions. For that reason, this position would appeal to a strong analyst with enthusiasm to learn and grow in an organization whose mission is to empower individuals to do the work they love.

Candidates should have advanced analytical skills, be highly organized, and possess the strong communication skills necessary to work with many different people and teams at GA, often leading high-impact, high-visibility projects. Strong candidates will have experience adapting to the evolving needs of a high-growth B2B team across the sales and delivery cycles and creating pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.

Core Responsibilities:

This role will enable our Enterprise line of business to make informed and impactful decisions around marketing, sales, delivery, operations, and client retention. Responsibilities include:

Strategic Workforce Planning

  • Leverage company data to help track & manage our teams needs
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies on our teams to create more operating leverage for the business & assist in hitting our financial goals
  • Be the trusted resource on our staffing model to the Enterprise team

Business Unit Reporting

  • Act as the point person on the Enterprise team to gather data in advance of our Quarterly Business Reviews. Your insights will be leveraged by our Enterprise leadership to outline a clear strategy for our business.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to track the financial state of the business
  • Act as point of contact for team members outside of the enterprise group (finance, product, external affairs, marketing) for asks regarding data insights from the Enterprise business (e.g., identifying & reporting trends you see in certain products we are selling & delivering)

Strategic Projects

  • Identify, prioritize & solve ongoing business problems for a rapidly growing company
  • Gather & analyze information to generate actionable insights to unlock growth
  • Work with business units to develop strategies & execute on plans to drive long term profitability
  • Assist in ad-hoc strategic projects to help grow & expand our B2B business

Monitor Financial Performance:

  • Define, monitor & optimize KPIs & success metrics for the enterprise business

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate loves being the mastermind of data & processes, driving insights through analysis, and keeping the team on track in a continuously evolving, growing business. The Business Intelligence Analyst (Enterprise) is the subject matter expert on Enterprise data and will help the Enterprise team stay focused on the highest-value activities. Ideal skills include:

  • 6+ years of data analyst experience and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Confident with end to end data workflows: analysis, reporting, and presenting results in a compelling way.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (Redshift / Postgres preferred), both for ad hoc analysis and data modeling for analytical reporting.
  • Expert in a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau. Tableau experience preferred.
  • Experience with forecasting, benchmarking, and other analytical reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and empathy to understand stakeholder challenges.
  • Fluent in Salesforce--able to partner with our CRM team to build new features and report off of Salesforce data. Experience with Outreach, Pardot, and other B2B sales enablement tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable finding and validating data in undocumented systems.
  • Enthusiastic about learning new techniques and technologies.
  • Comfortable presenting and engaging with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to prioritize competing initiatives.
