About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our high-growth Lending business and serve as a key partner to senior leadership, focusing on high-impact strategic initiatives and data analyses. There will also be the opportunity to work across our payments and marketplace businesses as you organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional projects. This position will be a critical driver for strategic change and help drive change management and business transformation efforts.

What You’ll Do

  • Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Figure Lending leadership team (and beyond).
  • Review competitive and industry landscape, identifying opportunities for investment and business growth. 
  • Analyze large amounts of information and data quickly and effectively to reduce complexity and make actionable recommendations for Figure; work closely with data to develop ad hoc analysis and iterate on weekly funnel reporting.
  • Provide analytics that support efforts around M&A and SPAC activity. 
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement and standardization, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. 
  • Help develop and utilize frameworks to structure the team’s thinking, drive visibility, and facilitate alignment.
  • Perform cost allocation and vendor management and help find and pursue cost reduction opportunities.
  • Help establish a structure and cadence of program and function reviews to increase visibility, drive alignment, and resolve blockers.

What We Look For

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, finance, business operations or data analytics 
  • Strong SQL skills and advanced experience with BI and data visualization tools 
  • Lending industry experience, ideally mortgage, is strongly preferred
  • Someone with strong intellectual curiosity and great data skills Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes.
  • Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment.

  • Additional experience working at a high growth startup / tech company.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
