SUMMARY OF POSITION
We’re looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst to work closely with our data team and business stakeholders for our flagship game, Choices! The ideal candidate will combine an extremely sharp analytical mindset with solid technical skills; a “can-do” mindset navigating through evolving project scopes, a love of games and interactive entertainment; and a penchant to learn and grow and help others do the same.
Our headquarters are in Los Altos, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret both internal and external data to influence strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to create and track KPIs, deliver reports, and communicate actionable findings
- Pair closely with Lead PM for Choices to conduct deep-dive analysis, design, and evaluate experiments to predict and optimize business outcomes, user experience, etc
- Be the subject matter expert & go-to person for Choices’ data-related questions
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3-4 years of related experience, ideally with exposure to customer-facing products
- Comfortable working with open-ended questions
- Advanced expertise in SQL
- Practical knowledge of Stats
- Comfortable with presenting and dashboarding using Tableau
- Exceptional attention to detail
- BA or BS degree (ideally in a quantitative or social scientific field)

- Advanced degrees (MA / MS / MBA / Ph.D.)
- Knowledge of R, and/or Python, as well as knowledge/interests in modeling
- Experience in mobile gaming
- Experience taking a project from end to end

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,920 - $158,880 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
