SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Pixelberry Studios is looking for a Senior Data Scientist / Data Scientist.

Our headquarters are in Mountain View, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.

Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret both internal and external data to influence strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making
  • Brainstorm, build and productionize statistical/ML models to drive business decisions
  • Design scientific experiments to evaluate the impact of different product/data features
  • Collaborate with business leaders to optimize player experience
  • Utilize data science techniques/ statistical knowledge to conduct ad-hoc analyses to predict and optimize business outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics or related experience; mobile-first direct to consumer tech company (ideally mobile games) is a plus
  • Advanced expertise in SQL, R, and/or Python
  • Practical knowledge of Stats and/or Machine Learning
  • Familiarity with experiment design and evaluation concepts and practices
  • BA or BS degree (ideally in a quantitative or social scientific field)
