We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations Data & Analytics team, serving the needs of our Elite Business Unit who sells to professional and college sports teams around the world. This role will join a growing RevOps & Enablement team that is committed to driving repeatable and scaled growth aligned to the ambitious expectations of the organization. The role is focused on delivering analytics and insights from the data we capture from our sales processes, third-party tools, and our own product usage data, through the use of SQL, advanced analytics techniques, dashboards, visualizations, and narrative reports delivered across our Elite business unit.

The role requires close partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Support Leadership to develop an analytics roadmap that connects to the strategic goals of those teams and the Elite Business Unit. There will be a combination of ad-hoc request management, self-serve Tableau dashboard creation, and proactive delivery of insights to leaders based on discoveries that our RevOps Data & Analytics team is making from deep-dive exploration of data. This will be a high impact role with room to grow as the demand of the business increases.

Our flexible work policy means you can decide where you want to work: in our London or Leeds offices, or remotely within the U.K.

You Are

  • Experienced. You have advanced data analysis skills and professional experience in deploying those skills to drive insights to Sales, CSM, Marketing, and Support leaders.
  • A great communicator. Whether it’s explaining code to a peer, documenting a system, or presenting an idea to stakeholders, you're articulate and engaging.
  • An accomplished data storyteller. You can communicate technical analysis to a non-technical audience. You have experience delivering powerful visual messages to the executive level and can call them to action using data. You effectively use data visualizations to enhance consumption of data and not distract from it.
  • A constant learner. You want to solve the data problems you face, seek input from your peers, and keep up with the rapidly-changing world of analytics and technology.
  • Accountable. You are results driven and take pride in the work delivered, meet or exceed expectations & goals, and take ownership of your performance.
  • A mentor. You are a leader on the team and always looking for opportunities to develop those around you.

You Will

  • Provide Thought Leadership. No one knows the analytics space better than you and you are thinking several steps ahead. Whether it be software, people, or processes, you know what is best in class and can anticipate what is yet-to-come.
  • Advocate for scalability. You will be an expert on the entire analytics tech stack that Analysts use.  You will prioritize projects that lead to efficiencies and scalable processes for your business partners.
  • Evangelize Massive Insights. You understand the key to driving results with data are the insights it provides. You will create data models, visual analytics, and self-service opportunities that provide and lead to insights that impact the highest levels of Hudl.
  • Be a Tableau expert. Your daily work will often lead you to creating/enhancing dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to provide insights to your stakeholders. You will become a trusted expert in Tableau at Hudl.
  • Write lots of SQL. From parsing complex strings to combining many disjointed data sets, you are an expert at writing SQL and your skill will be utilized to its fullest.
  • Be an expert on Sales and Marketing. You’ll understand our sales and marketing workflows better than anyone, allowing you to identify and surface inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

We Will

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
