Senior Data Analyst

Makeship is a crowdfunding platform for content creators to launch limited edition products to their fans. We are looking to bring on a Senior Data Analyst as our first data hire as we prioritize becoming more data-driven as a company in 2021.
We've grown our revenue by 900% in 2020 and have amassed a ton of data while doing so. In this role, you'll analyze our datasets to discover insights to help drive further growth and sales. You will also work closely with our engineering team on building out our data infrastructure.

Job requirements
So, what will you do at Makeship as a Senior Data Analyst?
- Analyze campaigns and sales data to discover keys insights and patterns behind our customers and successful campaigns.
- Collect data from disparate sources and aggregate them into BI dashboards for analysis.
- Design A/B tests and track metrics on our website and creator dashboard.
- Set our cross-organization data strategy as our first data hire.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on making data-driven decisions.
- Work alongside the engineering team on building out our data infrastructure.
This might be for you if…
- You have 4+ years of experience as a data analyst.
- You are proficient with Python, R or a similar scripting language.
- You are experienced in working with SQL (we use PostgreSQL).
- You can help guide or develop the creation of a modern data infrastructure.
- You are comfortable with working as a data generalist until we expand the team.
- You excel in working with a team and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus points if you have...
- Previous data engineering experience.
- Knowledge or interest in data science.
- Experience with working with Go, Kafka, and AWS.
- Worked with data from Shopify and HubSpot.
- Worked in a startup or similar environment previously.
