The Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our growing Data, Analytics and Insights team. In this role, you will demonstrate your business experience, analytical skills and visualization talent drive our business on data! You will help partners across the organization to see and make data-driven decisions at Pantheon. Understanding data is critical to Pantheon’s mission to make the web an outstanding platform that delivers results for our customers; and this role will be a key partner in accomplishing our mission.

This is a highly visible role, responsible for helping analytic consumers across Pantheon including our executive team. This role requires an interest in our business, it’s not just about data and technical skills, you will be willing to dive into business operations to understand how we do things at Pantheon. You should become comfortable with common business processes and SaaS metrics, and how to measure them with data. Be ready to collaborate across the company and become a trusted partner to our internal collaborators. You should be passionate about making an impact, be individually accountable and accountable for the team’s dedication to deliver value. You will work in a fast-paced, start-up atmosphere, while leading multiple work streams.

Cool Things You’ll Do

• Help Pantheon measure success against our strategic business objectives.
• Help advance analytics progress and nurture data-driven decision making at Pantheon.
• Help us make meaningful operational decisions through your analysis of the data.
• Leverage modern technology including Snowflake and Looker to tell your data stories.
• Work with multiple, unique data sources from our products and operational systems.
• Conduct data discovery and technical requirements gathering sessions.
• Help our leaders develop and measure meaningful critical metrics to help run the business.
• Create repeatable and scalable data analysis processes.
• Build detailed documentation on analytics initiatives.
• Help nurture our self-service analytics maturity at Pantheon.

What you Bring to the Table

• You can tell a story with data, and make it visually appealing to wide audiences.
• You’ve been working with data and analytics for at least 3 years.
• You have experience working with Snowflake, Looker or equivalent visualization tools.
• You can use SQL and have strong analytical experience.
• You are comfortable working in an agile environment, delivering incremental value.
• You can analyze data sets using statistical languages or Python.
• You are a problem-solver and critical thinker.
• Effective communicator, able to clearly and succinctly explain complex topics.
• Natural collaborator, with experience working multi-functionally with partners.
• You are able to build relationships with partners, and identify and tackle problems.
• Your work can be achieved independently, in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
• You love to learn, and are committed to personal development.
• Experience with SaaS businesses, value drivers and common metrics.
• Experience in scripting or statistical languages such as R
