The Role

We’re hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead our data & analytics product development at Pantheon.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the product vision, strategy and development plans for all data & analytics products at Pantheon. While developing and communicating the high level plans is an integral part of this role, you will have the autonomy to work with agile squads on an epic story level to deliver results. Your success will come from knowing “what” we are building, for “who”, and “why” we are building this amazing product. You are responsible for defining what success looks like for the product, how we’ll measure that, and defining it for the agile teams who will be implementing your product.

You should be passionate about product development, able to plan releases and deliver through agile methodologies. You’ll be working in partnership with our Product Engineering Team on data & analytic products that serve our Customers, while developing products that serve internal consumers such as Sales, Marketing and Finance. You should be able to deliver a pitch to our senior executives, help evangelize the value of our data & analytics program, and really be the “voice of our customer” for our team. We believe in finding simple solutions to the toughest problems, we avoid “boiling the ocean”, and we look to deliver value for our customers in every agile sprint.

This position reports to the Vice President of Data & Analytics.

Cool Things You’ll Do

  • Improve the experience with data & analytics for Pantheon’s Customers and employees.
  • Craft and drive a compelling product strategy and roadmap for our data & analytics program that enables Pantheon’s multi-year business strategy.
  • Partner with our Chief Product Officer and VP of Data & Analytics to develop a data & analytics monetization plan.
  • Partner with cross-functional Product Managers to develop data & analytics products that support our growth, operations and Customer experience.
  • Build products with a world-class data & analytics team on a modern data platform.
  • Be a customer advocate who can identify, prioritize and communicate, and deliver the most important initiatives.
  • Be highly visible, communicate plans, and share our progress regularly to Pantheon.
  • Be part of the team to take Pantheon’s growth to the next level with data & analytics.
  • Own the “What, for Who and Why” for each product while letting the team decide “how”.

What you Bring to the Table

  • Track record of successful product development, taking it to production.
  • Background in technology Product Management, ideally in data or analytics.
  • Strong love for product development and deliver value incrementally.
  • Ability to drive product development in a large, globally located organization.
  • Ability to build data-driven recommendations, prioritize with the business strategy in mind, and evangelize data & analytics product plans to build consensus with team members across the company.
  • Ability to weigh competing objectives and prioritize the most important initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple products at the same time and communicate effectively.
  • Effectively organize large product goals into smaller releases so the team can implement and deliver.
  • Ab to define objectives, success criteria and clear metrics that enable value delivery within each development sprint.
  • Ability to clearly communicate the plan for each product, roadmap and progress.
