Help build an industry leading data platform which is the foundation of all our blockchain data and service offerings.

Ensure accuracy of data results and analytic methods through testing and validation of underlying report data and coordinate closely with Data Product on issue resolution.

Learn about the top Blockchains and Protocols in order to model a data framework needed to do proper analysis of their use cases.

Ingest data from a wide variety of blockchains and data sources and become an expert in node apis and data sources.

Help build data models that are in line with analytics product specifications in Python and in SQL.

Mentor more junior analysts, data engineers on the team for learning and guidance on best practices.

What you bring:

• Strong data engineering background that includes 7+ years of experience working with complex data sets serving the needs of wide audience.
• You are comfortable creating your own intermediary tables and thrive in ambiguity
• You have a strong background in data modeling and are familiar with star schema and dimensional modeling.
• You are self directed and capable of driving projects forward to meet deadlines
• You have great communication skills (verbal and written) and are able to present your ideas to a wide audience
• You have a strong background in writing SQL (Snowflake, Athena, Hive, Postgres, SQL Server)
• Are familiar using ETL pipelining tools like DBT, Spark, etc.
• Are familiar with consuming a wide variety of apis such as REST, JSON-RPC, etc.
• You have an analytical mindset with a great statistics background
• You have a strong background in building python based ELT pipelines in AWS
• You have experience with AWS Lambdas, S3, Glue, Athena, Dynamodb.

It would be a plus if you have experience with the following:

- CDK

- Terraform

- Python Async

- Data Science

- Have blockchain experience
