We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take significant ownership in building Monte Carlo's data observability solution.
Monte Carlo helps data teams manage data observability in the same way that New Relic helps engineering teams manage application observability. We are proud to serve some of the top data teams in the industry, and are growing quickly.
Founded in 2019 by Barr Moses and Lior Gavish, Monte Carlo is backed by top funds Accel, GGV and Redpoint.

- Building production-grade analytics/ML/backend services to delight customers
- Owning major projects from inception to deployment, shipping at a rapid pace
- Architecting simple yet flexible solutions, and then scaling them as we grow
What gets us excited
- 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade backend services
- Mastery of Python and perhaps PySpark, familiarity with AWS technologies
- Experience building and scaling distributed architectures, and perhaps data pipelines too
- Sense of urgency, ownership mindset, and customer focus
