Job Description

Serve as a subject matter expert for data governance metadata including for data policies, data compliance regulations, and data quality rules and metrics. Use analytics and predictive modeling to assess data quality and metadata quality. Identify data quality issues and trends, oversee remediation plans, implement data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform data profiling and database structure research in order to understand relevant data elements along with their definitions and use.
• Research, identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Develop data dashboards to assess data quality, data lineage and performance, and identify/resolve issues.
• Develop, monitor and analyze data governance metrics to establish base lines and measure success as the program continues.
• Participate in data governance policy creation, management, and analyzing potential impacts of policy choices under consideration.
• Design, build, and execute efficient and accurate control structures to assess data quality and compliance to data governance policy.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of business analysis experience
• 5+ years of experience managing projects and/or processes in support of data integrity.
• Strong understanding of databases and data structures.
• Experience in data management, data quality, and/or data governance
• The ability to translate business issues and requirements into actionable plans, and to deliver against those plans.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data issues.
• Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Proficient in SQL
• Business Intelligence Platforms (Looker, MicroStrategy)
• Data Governance Platforms (Alation)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline or relevant work experience.

Base Pay Range:

$84,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
