The Socure Big Data R&D team is responsible for developing cutting edge entity-resolution algorithms, using graph techniques on massive datasets for anomaly detection and troubleshooting, supporting the modeling team with feature engineering, building probabilistic models for identity matching,  building data-processing pipelines, evaluating the performance of new data sources, and providing analytical support to the Socure compliance and regulatory product suite, which includes a highly acclaimed Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and global watchlist products.

What You'll Do:

• Implement and customize large scale automated ETL pipelines
• Test and deploy models
• Work with big-data frameworks and ML platforms
• Develop and improve data science workflows: deploying models, building validation frameworks, performance monitoring, etc.
• Implement A/B testing
• Optimize computational resources and improve big-data querying tools
• Provide data quality support to teams working with sensitive data
• Work well in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
• Contribute to innovations of identity-verification data solutions

What You'll Bring:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, financial engineering, or equivalent practical experience with 3+ year of experience in data engineer role
• Must have programming experience in Python and Scala (or Java)
• Experience in design and improvement of data quality, metadata data management, data discovery, reporting, and analytics.
• Experience in automation of object-oriented data pipelines and algorithms 
• Experience with data mining, machine learning algorithms and ML libraries, statistical tools and underlying theory.
• Experience with Graph database, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake is a plus!
