The Role
We are looking for a leader to own our insights & data products for internal stakeholders and external customers. As a Senior Director of Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for the entirety of our data ecosystem. This includes owning the data warehouse and analytics infrastructure, analytical models and analysis to unlock business & product insights, dashboards, and self-serve data tools to serve the needs of internal stakeholders, and finally, revenue-generating insights & data products for external customers.
This role will partner with various stakeholders to address the data needs of the business and influence decision making across the organization. They will manage, grow, and coach a team of data analysts, data scientists, and analytics/data engineers, with the goal of driving data-driven culture internally across all functions, and growing our data business.
An ideal candidate would have a bias toward action, solve complex problems, and elevate cross-functional teams with clear insights that spur action toward our ultimate company goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own data & analytics roadmap for internal stakeholders & external customers
- Manage a team of data analysts, analytics engineers, and data engineers
- Grow our data business by delivering against customer facing data & insights roadmap
- Present monthly business reviews and represent data at the C-Suite level
- Develop cross functional relationships and operationalize insights to drive action
- Support the data needs of Product, GTM, Operations, Marketing & Finance teams
- Set OKRs for the team. Implement right processes & tools to drive towards success
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- At least 7+ years of experience in analytics leadership roles, data science, or product leadership role for data products
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Experience in statistical analysis & analytical modeling techniques
- Experience in data storytelling with insights and visualizations
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in SQL, data modeling & dashboards
- Deep understanding of data warehouses (Like RedShift/Snowflake) and tools required for self serve analytics
- Natural collaboration and communication skills with a track record of building positive relationships across a broad, diverse organization
