The Self-Serve Growth Team, which this role sits within, grows revenue by building and optimizing best-in-class experiences that demonstrate Klaviyo’s value across all aspects of the self-serve customer funnel, from acquisition to retention and advocacy. We obsess over our users’ journeys, both on the dotcom website and within the product, and partner closely with teams from around Klaviyo to design and test improvements to these experiences.

About the role

Klaviyo is looking for a Growth Analyst to join our Self-Serve Growth team; in particular, supporting the Self-Serve Assist Team (SSA). The Self-Serve Assist (SSA) team uses live-chat and email to drive website visitors’ conversion to Klaviyo Accounts. SSA offers automated and scaled support moments in the customer journey that benefit from a light-touch human interaction to decide, convert, retain or upsell. 

The Growth Analyst will be responsible for building out the analytical ecosystem supporting this high-revenue-impact initiative. Furthermore, a large focus of the Growth Analyst will be identifying areas for expansion of the chat & email tools, in close collaboration with the SSA Program Manager. This analyst will partner closely with our SSA Program Manager, Marketing Analytics, Sales Ops, and Business intelligence. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in web analytics, sales ops, cross-functional communication, analytical thinking, and project management. 

How You Will Make a Difference: 

  • Own the entire analytical ecosystem for our chat & email motions; Distilling key insights in the funnel to drive Self-Serve Assist’s roadmap
  • Lead the performance tracking and dashboarding of the Self-Serve Assist, tracking performance to our revenue targets. 
  • Closely partner with Self-Serve Assist Program Manager to drive testing and optimization to our chat & email programs. 
  • Design attribution modeling to accurately attribute incremental revenue driven by the SSA motions. 
  • Designing scalable reporting methodology to identify the main customer themes from the 2K+ monthly customer chats to provide feedback to our Web and Product partners. 
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics, Sales Ops, & Business Intelligence to interpret data, identify key findings, and make recommendations based on testing results. 

Who You Are 

  • You have a bachelor’s or advanced degree in math, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or other quantitative field
  • You have worked in an analytics or Sales Ops role for 3+ years professionally
  • You possess strong SQL, Salesforce reporting, & excel skills
  • You have experience working within web analytics and website funnel analysis
  • You have a strong focus on documenting processes and reporting methodologies 
  • You balance attention to detail with swift execution
  • You have a bias towards learning and constant iteration
  • You are self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
  • You have strong communication and organization skills
